Evolving as a healthy dining destination, Timur Kitchen inside the Komaneka at Keramas Beach resort is a stand-alone restaurant serving modern international cuisine with an emphasis on Indonesian ingredients and spices.

New in this season, Timur Kitchen now launches brunch, ideal for an outing with family and friends. Among the dishes are: Egg Benedict (poached egg with prosciutto, potato rosti, cherry tomatoes, micro herbs & house-made Hollandaise sauce served on English muffin with green salad), Tag This Hash (braised pot roast, potato hash cakes, scoop of smashed avocado, egg over medium, topped with chimichurri and served with sautéed fresh vegetables); Swine Time Bali (Brioche French toast topped with tender pulled pork, cherry tomatoes, poached egg, house-made Hollandaise sauce and soft smoked bacon, served with nut salad), and many other choices. This menu is available daily from 10am to 4pm.

The cuisine at Timur Kitchen makes innovative use of the wonderful flavors of Indonesia, and the resort is planting its own organic gardens to provision the restaurant. The repertoire of spices includes many treasures from the Indonesian archipelago, such as the rich dark nut kluwek; the bright peppery flavor of torch ginger; and tangy lemongrass. Humble produce from local farmers’ gardens are transformed in combination with luxury ingredients: the ubi sweet potato, kecipir (wing beans), mengkudu (cheese fruit) take their place with king crabmeat, prawns, and Australian beef tenderloin.

The dining room is an open pavilion dramatically situated at the edge of the Indian Ocean, with views to the neighboring island of Nusa Penida, Bali’s highest volcano Mount Agung, the resort’s own rice fields, and the elegantly landscaped beachside swimming pool. The restaurant’s design is sophisticated and contemporary, rich with timber and intricate details inspired by the old era of the royal Balinese kingdoms.
